Horoscope for Capricorn

Saturn and Pluto only turned retrograde in Capricorn in the closing days of April and in Saturn's case, in the final hours. Saturn only turned retrograde on 30th April, with the first day of May also his first full day in retrograde motion. This means you are still adjusting to this change in focus, with both planets in Capricorn not only in retrograde motion but in the first part of the month, also at a standstill. This might take the wind out of sails and with Mars in your busy work sector until 16th May, this may require some juggling. Mars' final weeks can be busy, but with Jupiter also in his first full month not only in retrograde motion but in a nostalgic and reflective part of your chart, he will take responsibility for finding the right balance. Mars and Jupiter will move into opposition in the early part of the month and while this might create some work tension and job pressure, as the largest planet in the solar system Jupiter is pulling rank. This is not in an effort to get in the way of work and job matters, but is an effort to ensure you know when to keep your work hat on and when to take it off. With the Sun and Mercury both returning to your work sector on 21st May, nothing is as urgent as Mars will try and make out it is. In the meantime, Venus and Mercury offer some light relief during that time, with Mercury in a playful and romantically charged part of your chart until 7th May and Venus, the planet of love until 15th May. With Mars in your work sector until 16th May, a balance between work and play is being supported and will entice you to take your work hat off at times. It is on 16th May that Mars returns to your relationship sector, just seven weeks before a total solar eclipse here. This is the start of the most important months of the year on the relationship front.
